Honda-Beyond The Road

Honda Cars is the first Japanese brand manufactured in the United States backyard back in 1982. It has evolved from a compact hatchback into mid-sized sedan. This evolution is necessary to fit the American taste for bigger cars, making the Accord pushed at the upper limit of mid-size cars and just below full-sized cars by EPA standards. Honda managed to do this while having in mind fuel efficiency to consider. Honda’s charm worked well on the Americans, being the best selling Japanese car in the U.S. from 1982 to 1997.

Honda conceptualized Accord with a V6 engine that looks sporty with a long hood. The name Accord is said to be derived from Honda’s desire for “accord” and harmony between people, society and their automobile. It has been a model in meeting emission standards and fuel efficiency since 1970, and takes pride of being the only car that passed United States government standards without using a catalytic converter. Although a bigger car, the Honda Accord also used the same transverse engine layout of the smaller Honda Civic which is also operating on a front-wheel drive.

The Accord is produced in Marysville, Ohio Automotive Plant since 1982 and in Guangzhou, China joint venture since 1999.

Motor Trend named the Accord as the “Best of the Best” and “The Benchmark” . It was compared head to head with the Toyota Car , and Honda Accord emerged in the end and in all aspects to be showing more. Autoweek, known for its reputation in keeping an eye to the minutest detail of every model that comes out found that “there is little to criticize in the all-new Honda Accord.” Autoweek alluded to the model as a masterpiece of “tiny carpet installer” who managed to put every piece of the material stretched around every bend and tightly fitted just right into each corner.

Honda’s marketing tag “Beyond the Road” is fueling the Accord to a higher plane of customer satisfaction. Asserting that car owners are “more than just drivers” and that Honda Accord is “engineered more than a car and built for the road and everything beyond it.” It a sedan cars that lets you feel a commanding presence with its inspiring lines and details, plus a wide variety of colors to choose from. The doors are extra-wide for easy boarding and alighting.

Powered by a 268 horsepower V6 engine, there is a choice between 5-speed automatic transmission and 5-speed manual. Prices start at $20,360 for the starter LX stock. There are also varied stock like the LX Premium, EX, EX-L, EX V6 and EX-L V6, the most expensive stock at $28,060.

Make your Accord’s presence felt “Beyond the Road” with Honda Accord Keychains, a collection of masterfully crafted key ornaments. There are flawless steel designs called the ‘Teardrop’ and ‘Valet’ keychains, engraved with the Honda logo and the text ‘Accord’.

Best Buys On Used Economy Cars

December 3, 2008

(0) Comments

You love the idea of great fuel economy but hate the idea of the cramped quarters economy cars so often provide. You’re a smart shopping looking for used cars where the depreciation is already gone but you’re not sure which used economy cars provide the most comfort combined with the best fuel economy in its class. Well read on! We’ll help!

The 2001 Nissan Sentra matches the Ford Focus when it comes to comfort and fuel economy but it beats the Focus had down when it comes to build. The Sentra is a well built, well designed economy car, with plenty of leg room, 8 way adjustable drivers seat, rear defroster, tilt steering, and a quick shift 5 speed manual transmission. It’s got amazing suspension for an economy car and you’ll love zipping along those twisting turning roads in this one. The only thing economy about the 2001 Nissan car for sale is the fuel economy and the price!

The Honda Civic from 1998 through to 2003 is also a great choice in used. For many years the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla have stood neck and neck in the economy class and although both are good choices the Civic offers up some features that the Corolla doesn’t. The Civic feels a lot sportier to drive and in 1999 & 2000 it saw the 160 HP inline 4 so it’s very peppy to drive. It handles nicely and feels like a sporty little economy car to drive. Fuel economy is awesome although the price can be a little more than economical. Overall it’s been a very popular car so it will hold its value nicely.

If you’re looking for a midsize economy car the Toyota Camry from 1998 to 2003 comes up nice. It provides a nice quiet ride and its reliability record is amazing! It might not provide quite as sporty a ride as the Honda Accord its main rival but for the price it’s a much higher end build providing comfort far beyond what’s normally offered in an economy car. Fuel economy is average for the size but then when you move into the mid size range you can’t expect miracles. The Toyota Camry is a nice ride and a nice buy in the used car market.

If you’re looking for a big car in the economy class then consider the late 1990s to early 2000s Mercury Grand Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria. For a large car the fuel efficiency is not too bad coming in around 25mpg on the highway. This car is virtually indestructible built to go the distance again and again and it offers all the comfort of a full size car with plenty of luggage and passenger room. It’s also got a reputation for low maintenance making it a very economical full size car.

Luxury cars in the economy class are a little bit more difficult to find but the Lexus ES 300 car from 1998 is probably one of the best bets around. It’s roomy, quiet, and it’s got a nice finished exterior and interior. It’s been proven as a reliable stress free vehicle and in the luxury class it’s the most economical buy.

If you’ve just got to buy a sporty car but you still want economy then look no further as the Mazda car Miata is the perfect buy and any year will do. It’s a dream to drive with very responsive steering, a peppy engine, and a short shift manual transmission. Zoom zoom zoom! There’s nothing else in the sports class that can even come close in fuel economy, reliability, accessories, and cost to buy. Here you’ll get great bang for your buck!

If you’re in the market for an economy SUV then be sure to check out the Honda CR-V from 1998 forward. It’s got a huge amount of cargo space and there’s no terrain that this rugged SUV can’t handle. And what’s really great is the CR-V offers much better fuel economy than other SUVs. It’s got the traditional reliability that Honda is known for and it’s got everything you need. It’s just not as fancy as some of the higher end SUVs but when it comes to economy in the SUV class the Honda CR-V wins hands down!

10. Dodge Los Angeles

Clinging to the number 10 spot is Dodge Los Angeles. Dodge is the last of the American automakers to make the list. Fewer than 85,000 people searched for Dodge Los Angeles last month. Based on the American automakers’ struggle in the past few years, the number ten spot is still decent for Dodge Los Angeles.

It is every parent’s dream to be able to get affordable car insurance for teenagers. When your teens come home one day, announcing that they have obtained their car license, it is the starting point of your nightmares. You are worried about your teens’ safety as well as the cost of insuring them. This is because you are well aware that teens do not come cheap when it comes to car insurance. Luckily, you still have choices to get cheap car insurance rates for them with adequate coverage without burning a hole in your pocket.

Insurance companies have different perspective in managing their business, which explains the difference in plans and prices offered. Do some studies and ask for recommendations from friends and families for the best company. The company that you are going to choose should be the one that offers low rates as well as able to deal with you efficiently once your teens need their protection.

Next, consider insuring them under your policy. This move will help you to save a bundle although you might notice a rise in your rates at first. It is common that your premiums doubled when you add a teenage driver in the same policy. However, you will gain more savings this way compared to insuring them individually. Your premiums will be lower once your teens show that they are capable to drive safely in the long run.

Teenagers can also sign up for defensive driving courses if they are still considered having not enough experience in driving. There are special driving courses like Pass Plus scheme which can put their skills to a higher level once they graduated from these courses. Pass Plus scheme give new drivers chances to master skills of driving in tricky situations such as driving at night or under bad weathers with low visibility.

Get them cars that are safe enough for teenagers to drive. Older and heavy cars are much better choices compared to expensive sports cars. The former are proven to be less attractive to thieves and prone to accidents. They will then reduce the risk of the teenagers which contributes to lower claims. Your insurance company will also be able to grant you with cheaper car insurance for teenagers because of this. If you are still worried, install anti thefts and safety devices such as steering locks and automatic seat belts which can protect your teens and their cars further. This all facilities available in many of cars like Nissan car, jagur car, isuzu car, land rover car, lexus car, honda car and many more cheap cars are here.

Last but not least, remind them to drive cautiously and safely all the time. There is no point to drive dangerously to show off to their peers when they are risking their own lives and also leads to higher cost of insurance if they tend to have bad driving habits like speeding. Teenagers are new drivers and they should refrain from committing any traffic offenses or involve in accidents which will leave them with bad points in their driving records.

Diffrent types Of Cars Are Here

Small car revolution is about to hit the Indian car industry. The new and sparkling age of small cars has fortunately positioned India as a global leader.

Economic growth in the country is also set to usher the sparkling age as most of the Indian car manufacturers are embracing the era with the launch and announcement of small, affordable, fuel-efficient, and low-cost cars. The increasing demand of such cars is attributed to the desire and need of smaller and ultra-cheap used cars with respect to the rising inflation, congested city conditions, and high fuel emissions.

Remember the old golden days when Maruti Suzuki 800, the smallest car on Indian roads, was the only car listed under small car. Though the car is still found zipped on roads, it has lost its dominance with the entry of new cars adorned with advanced and innovative technology.

Keeping pace with the advancing technology, car manufacturers later introduced many new small cars in the country. Some of the biggest hit among those are Hyundai Santro Xing, Hyundai i10, Maruti Suzuki Alto, Chevrolet Spark, Chevrolet Aveo, and the electric car Reva Maini. Though these small cars are not as small as the old warehouse, Maruti 800, they have been successful in winning people’s heart with their compact dimension and improved fuel efficiency.

The upcoming car model, Tata Nano, is again a small car that is expected to completely revolutionize the entire car market. It seems to be a live example of India’s potential capabilities to deliver the best design and engineering in accordance to the need of the next generation customers.

With the advent of this new era, most of the global car manufacturers are targeting India for the production of small cars. The shift towards India is attributed to large market for small cars as well as a major hub for design and production. The country has become a center of gravity with more and more car manufacturers are making a bright move towards the Indian platform.

To create a full time service and value chain, Indian car manufacturers are working day and night to have the best in-class infrastructure, technology, designing, engineering, and auto components. The Indian leaders are also expected to be masters in branding, purchasing, and selling. Today, a large domestic market is supporting burgeoning engineering talent pool in the country. This talent pool coupled with a strong supplier base has carved a niche for the global auto industry.

Apart from the proposed Tata Nano, many other car manufacturers like Honda Seil India, Hyundai Motors, General Motors, Nissan Motors, Ford Motors, and Bajaj-Renault Volvo, Toyota Supra also have their small cars in pipeline. All these small cars will soon roll out on Indian roads, zipping them on the congested city roads.

In time, India is likely to lead the small car market and become a hub for small car production. The small-car focus has an incredible potential to reduce country’s trade deficit and promote fuel-efficient cars. The fulfillment of this realization needs a smart move by car manufacturers in collaboration with the government.

Should You Buy A New Car - Or Opt For a Lease Takeover

September 26, 2008

(0) Comments

If you have been thinking of buying a new Or Used car for yourself, or buying a second car for the family’s needs, or a new truck, or SUV for your business needs, or leasing a Vehicle/Car, you should also take a look at Car Lease Takeovers besides buying the vehicle outright or even with a Car Loan or leasing a car. Vehicle Lease Takeover may seem complicated, but it is not, and it may turn out to be a better option than buying a car outright or buying a Car with a Car Loan.

Besides the option of buying a new vehicle or car outright or with a bank loan, an individual can lease a vehicle/car for a few years, and then give it back to the leasing company at the end of the period. A Vehicle/Car lease is based on the simple concept that an individual will be paying the amount by which a vehicle’s/cars value is depreciated during the time that they are using it. Depreciation simply means the difference between a vehicle’s/cars original value and the value at the end of the lease period, and this is the factor that determines the cost of leasing. Buying a car outright or on a Car Loan, or leasing a vehicle/car are options of acquiring a Car, but a Car Lease Takeover is another option you can think of.

Lease Takeover and Lease Transfer Companies assist an individual to exit a Lease early by marketing the vehicle/car to lease buyers seeking a short-term lease transfer. Lease buyers can takeover a lease that fits their payment budget as well as select a lease term that fulfills their requirements. A leased Vehicle/Car comes up for a Lease Takeover when someone has leased a vehicle/car, but is unable to continue paying the lease payments to the car leasing company. The biggest advantage of a Vehicle/Car Lease Takeover is the fact that you are taking over an existing lease and just have to get the Lease Transfer to your name. The individual forgoing the Lease has paid most of the initial down payments, monthly payments, and charges when leasing the vehicle/car, and you don’t have to pay these fees again as it is not a fresh lease but a lease takeover.

But you do have to be aware of and enquire thoroughly with the Lease Takeover Company regarding the costs of a Lease Takeover and the type of lease. You can also get many offers and incentives from the individual trying to get out of a lease. The Company will guide you on all procedures and paperwork involved in a Lease Transfer and getting the Car Lease transferred to your name. Almost all Lease Takeover and Lease Transfer Companies have websites where you can register and browse online for Vehicle/Cars in the listings for lease takeovers.

Whichever Vehicle or Car brand you may be looking for or thinking of buying, a Lease Takeover and Lease Transfer Company lists hundreds of Vehicles and Cars of many brands, makes, models, and years of usage. Whether it is a Ford car, Chevrolet car, Buick car, Honda car, Toyota car etc of whatever make, model, and year, you will find your vehicle of choice, within your budget, at a Vehicle Lease Takeover and Transfer Company. If the Company does not have a Vehicle of your choice or within your budget, they will look for one and inform you as soon as they find the vehicle of your choice.
